My Design Philosophy
Design begins with understanding who my learners are, what they need to learn, and what already exists on this topic. The first step is to collect information from stakeholders and subject matter experts to answer those questions. Using that input, we can determine the objectives and scope of the solution needed. Then, it's time to check calendars and develop a project plan, including dates for subject matter expert feedback.
Once we start to build, the perspectives and experiences of learners are central to that build. For success, we need learner buy-in early. They need to know from the start why they are there and what they are being asked to do. Whether virtual, ILT, or vILT, the activities should get learners thinking about and applying the concepts in the training as much as possible. This is what helps the learning stick once they've left the training. |
My Leadership Philosophy
My goal as a leader is to remove roadblocks and make connections. It's my job to figure out what people do well and find opportunities for them to flourish in that role. Connections with other leaders and talent across a company allow me to ensure that every individual within the organization has access to valuable insights that help drive us forward, faster.
In 2023, I was doing a sensing interviewing with a Senior VP at P&G to determine the scope of a new to level VP program. They said, "What's most important is to be a great person to work with." This encapsulates so much of what is important about the work we do together. Honesty, integrity, and transparency create healthy work relationships for when we're celebrating wins or having tough conversations. |
Note: Due to NDAs, I cannot share many examples of the work that I have done for companies.

I created this training from scratch training in 2022 while working on my ID masters degree.

I worked with scientists to design this ILT. I had the support of a graphic designer. There was a facilitation guide (Word Doc) that contained the scripting for each slide and a participant guide with prompts. This content has been heavily redacted to comply with the NDA.
